The concept for our company was truly a team effort. After connecting with local copywriters at a marketing expo, founder Janet Riley envisioned building a business where marketers and copywriters could collaborate to craft messages that not only resonate with clients but also drive real results.
Frustrated with the endless cycle of finding clients, persuading them to hire her, and then starting the process all over again once each project was complete, Janet dreamed of a better way. That dream became a reality when she joined forces with several talented copywriters in the area.
Together, they launched The Write Stuff—a copywriting service dedicated to matching copywriters with companies in need of their unique expertise. For over a decade, The Write Stuff has been helping businesses thrive through services such as social media and blog content, white papers, copywriting, and much more.

With exceptional talent for crafting persuasive copy, a keen eye for business, and an unstoppable drive to succeed, founder Janet Riley brought over 20 years of copywriting experience to the table before launching The Write Stuff. Over time, she realized the constant cycle of “find project, finish project, repeat” had grown tiresome. Janet wanted to focus her energy on what she loved most—writing—rather than spending all her time chasing new clients.
Armed with an MBA, proven copywriting expertise, and a witty sense of humor that shines through in her work, Janet has written for some of the world’s leading brands, including Hewlett Packard, Barnes & Noble, Macy’s, and numerous Fortune 500 companies.
